Try, Try, Try

About a year ago a friend found this inspiring message in an elementary school's yearbook and shared it with me.  This little poem changed my life.  Throughout out the last year, the message of this poem, penned by some local kid, has been a constant source of inspiration and direction. I find that it is applicable to almost every situation.  "Anna, if you can't be the best at language, just don't be the worst." "Anna, if you can't be the first to meeting, just don't be the last."  Or something like this, "Anna if you can't be the best driver, just don't be the worst."  "Anna, if you can't have the pretties kurtas (shirts), just don't have the ugliest."  "Anna, if you can't get out of bed before eight, just get up sometime."  At least once a day I tell myself  "Try, Try, Try. Anna, try not to be the loser."  Truly, trying not to be the worst is where the 'Sucess of Life' comes from.  It is so inspiring I just had to to share.  May it change your life and dare you to reach for the stars.  Or if you can't reach for the stars, at least reach for something.
